AIAA's SPACE 2003 covers a broad spectrum of "SPACE", with the plan that, if one were engaged in ANY principal manner in the Space industry, he/she would not want to miss this event. It seeks to be so current and encompassing that it provides compelling interest and value to national and international aerospace professionals who attend and participate.

What makes this conference further distinguished is its hybrid format, which combines 51 technical paper sessions with 22 embedded panels (moderators and panelists of industry acclaim) and 5 standalone plenary sessions, with top keynotes, moderators and panelists -- a program that includes more than 250 speakers. Other key components include a major educational and community outreach called "Education Alley" and an emphasis on workforce development -- all with related activities and special events. There is a large exhibit and cyber cafe. AND, there are professional development courses and committee meetings built around the event.

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) organizes this annual conference. The Boeing Company is the corporate sponsor, with program support from NASA and DoD. Space News and California Space Authority are supporting sponsors.
