NASA Extends Engineering, Science and Technical Services Contract

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- NASA has signed a contract modification with Jacobs Technology Inc. of Tullahoma, Tenn., to exercise the final option of the Engineering, Science and Technical Services Contract at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala.

The cost-plus-award-and-incentive fee, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract will conclude Oct. 14, 2010. This final option of $192.5 million brings the total potential value of the contract, awarded in October 2005, to $792.5 million.
Under the contract, Jacobs Technology Inc. performs a wide range of engineering, technical, science, propulsion, program management and business services in support of Marshall and NASA Headquarters in Washington. The company will furnish all resources, including management, personnel, equipment and supplies, unless specific exceptions are made by the government.
