A problem has occurred with a sensor on a hatch during a re- docking manoeuvre between a Soyuz spacecraft and the International Space Station (ISS), Russian news agency ITAR-TASS reported on 19 July.
The agency quoted a source at Russian mission control saying one of the hatch's hermetic sensors failed when two of the men on board the ISS crossed over to the Soyuz-TMA-6 spacecraft.
Another TASS report said that the ISS crew closed the hatch at the second attempt, and that its airtightness is being checked.
