The launch of the European Venus-Express space station has been postponed for several days because of a fault, ITAR-TASS reported on 22 October quoting an official at the Baykonur cosmodrome
. The launch of the spacecraft, with the help of a Russian Soyuz-FG rocket, was planned for 26 October. A representative of Russia's Space Agency Roskosmos told the agency that "it will take up to 10 days to put things right". The delay is "well within the launch schedule - between 26 October and 26 November", he said.Source: BBC Monitoring Former Soviet Union
