South Korean Planning to Fly to Iss Aboard Russian Spacecraft

PUSAN. Nov 19 (Interfax) - Preparations for a mission whereby a South Korean citizen will be sent to the International Space Station onboard a Russian spacecraft are continuing.
"I hope that our specialists will soon finish the coordination of all details pertaining to the possible flight of a South Korean cosmonaut to the ISS onboard a Russian spacecraft in the near future," Russian President Vladimir Putin said following negotiations with his South Korean counterpart Roh Moo-hyun in Pusan on Saturday.
Putin also reaffirmed Russia's willingness to develop military- technical cooperation with South Korea.
