Russian Space Forces Follow Flight Of Chinese Astronaut

MOSCOW. Oct 15 (Interfax) – The Russian Space Forces are following the flight of the Chinese manned spacecraft, Shenzhou V.
“The Russian Space Forces’ system of control is following the Chinese manned spacecraft along the visible trajectory of the flight. The spacecraft was launched at 9:00 a.m. Beijing time on Wednesday from the Jiuquan launch pad,” Space Forces’ spokesman Vyacheslav Davidenko told Interfax on Wednesday.
China has not asked Russia to provide assistance in controlling the flight.
