Posted on: Saturday, 18 February 2006, 21:00 CST

MOSCOW. Feb 18 (Interfax) - Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) chief Anatoly Perminov will visit NASA's Kennedy Space Center on March 1-3 to attend a meeting of the International Space Station (ISS) partner-countries, i.e. Russia, the U.S., Japan, the European Space Agency, and Canada.

During the meeting, he is planning to discuss prospects for cooperation between the Russian and U.S. space agencies with his U.S. counterpart.

"The chiefs of the space agencies will meet in Florida at the beginning of March to discuss interaction in the coming years," Roscosmos deputy chief Nikolai Moiseyev told journalists.

They will consider U.S. payments for the use of Russian spacecraft for delivering U.S. astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS), he said.

"The Americans are meticulously fulfilling all agreements that were concluded for 2006," Moiseyev said.
