Your editorial of 19 February was headlined "It is not too late to save the planet". The planet has an amazing capacity to survive all sorts of catastrophes, including the meteorite strike 65 million years ago. Global warming will wipe out the human race before it destroys the planet. Earth will experience a difficult time and whole ecosystems will be wiped out, but new plant and animal species will emerge. The Earth will die only when the sun dies.
