MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) – International partners in the International Space Station project are considering European astronauts’ participation in long-duration missions to the ISS, Rosaviakosmos general director Yuri Koptev told the press on Tuesday.
“Talks are underway with the European Space Agency on European astronauts’ participation in long-duration missions, even at the expense of the Russian quota and even when our crew has only three members. Such flights will cost much more than short flights,” said Koptev.
