NASA Announces Johnson Space Center Support Contract

WASHINGTON, March 31 /PRNewswire/ — NASA selected Al-Razaq Computing Services, Houston, to support financial and resources management operations at the agency’s Johnson Space Center.

The contract has a three-year base period with two, one-year options. The maximum value of the contract is $24.5 million.

The company will provide support for Johnson’s Resources Management Office, Procurement and Financial Management Division. The support includes cost estimating and analysis, assessments, budget development, database maintenance, contract close out and bankcard support.

The majority of services are in support of NASA’s Space Shuttle Program. The critical cost assessment and cost estimating tasks are performed in a technical environment largely driven by the requirements of Return to Flight and space shuttle transition. Contractor operations will be at Johnson.
