Federal Space Agency Chief Appointed

MOSCOW. March 12 (Interfax) - Commander of the Russian Space Forces Col. Gen. Anatoly Perminov has been appointed chief of the Federal Space Agency.
"A document on transferring Perminov to another job has already been drawn up, although it will be officially published next Monday," Space Forces spokesman Alexei Kuznetsov told Interfax on Friday.
It is expected that Perminov's first deputy and chief of staff of the Space Forces Lt. Gen. Vladimir Popovkin will be appointed Space Forces commander.
"Relevant ordinances will be published at the beginning of next week," Kuznetsov said.
