Fsa Says Another Space Tourist May Be Sent To Iss

MOSCOW. April 2 (Interfax) - The Federal Space Agency (FSA) said another space tourist may be able to travel to the International Space Station in the near future.
"I am not ruling out the possibility that the company Space Adventures may have another potential space tourist," FSA press secretary Sergei Gorbunov told reporters.
Space Adventure officials earlier said the company has another 12 candidates who would like to travel to space, but these projects are still in the early stages of development.
Speaking about U.S. millionaire Gregory Olsen, who is due to become the next space tourist to fly to the ISS, Gorbunov said: "Olsen will first take medical tests at the Russian Institute for Medical and Biological Issues, and after that he will begin training at the Cosmonaut Training Center [in the Russian Zvyozdny Gorodok]."
Olsen's fight is scheduled for April 2005, Gorbunov said. However, "no one is ruling out the possibility that this flight may take place earlier if everyone is satisfied with his training." Gorbunov said that in such a case, the flight could be rescheduled for October 2004.
