Putin hails "leading position" of Russian space industry

Moscow, 12 April: Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia's participation in the International Space Station programme is further evidence of the leading position held by Russia's space industry.
"Our participation in the International Space Station programme is further evidence that the leading position held by Russia's space industry is indisputable," Putin said at the Federal Space Agency.
"The International Space Station is functioning thanks to Russian manned and freight spacecraft which provide the station with everything it needs," Putin said.
