Rocket to Test Theory of Relativity

UNITED STATES: Nasa launched a $700m (pounds 390m) satellite into orbit yesterday to test Albert Einstein's general theory of relativity

. The Gravity Probe B, which took 45 years to build and is one of the most precise scientific instruments ever constructed, was carried aloft by a Boeing Delta 2 from the rocket range at California's Vandenberg Air Force base.
