The European Space Agency says it will have a news conference to highlight present and future European human spaceflight missions.
The Friday news conference will be at the European Astronaut Center in Cologne, Germany.
The ESA says there will be missions involving four ESA astronauts this year and next, together with the launch of two International Space Station modules built in Europe -- the Columbus laboratory and Node 2.
ESA officials said the Columbus laboratory is one of the cornerstones of Europe's contribution to the ISS, along with the Automated Transfer Vehicle -- the European ISS cargo spacecraft -- also due for launch next year.
