Space Adventures Presents for the First Time Space Tourist Candidate, Charles Simonyi

What:

Space Adventures, Ltd., the only company to have sent private passengers to space, invites you to the formal introduction of Charles Simonyi, Ph.D., as a space tourist candidate. The company which organized the flights for the world's first and only space tourists, will announce Dr. Simonyi's training schedule, launch date and the activities that he has planned during his visit to the International Space Station at a press conference to be held at The Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington on Thursday, October 26.

In cooperation with the Federal Space Agency of the Russian Federation, Space Adventures continues its commitment to opening the final frontier to private citizens. This past August, Dr. Simonyi received clearance to begin formal spaceflight training from a Russian medical board that reviewed his general medical health and fitness. Since then, he has begun training at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia, in preparing for his upcoming spaceflight.
