2 Astronauts Leave Space Station for Walk

Two astronauts left the International Space Station for their fourth space walk Friday, the last one of their current mission.

Gennady Padalka of Russia and Michael Fincke of the U.S. are scheduled to return to earth next week.

The Itar-Tass news agency reports that Padalka and Fincke went through an internal hatch. Their job was to place three off six antennas on the outer side of the service module for automatic docking of the Jules Verne, the first European cargo vessel serving the space station.

Sergei Suvorov of the Moscow office of the International Space4 Station told Itar-Tass said that Padalka and Fincke have had the busiest schedule of astronauts on the space station because they are the only ones living there now. In the past, the station had three-person crews, allowing one to remain inside while the others space walked.
