Briefing ; Scenic Spot To Be Named In Astronauts’ Memory

A scenic spot on 14,165-foot Kit Carson Mountain is expected to be named Columbia Point on Tuesday in honor of the seven astronauts who died in the space shuttle disaster Feb. 1. Judge Paul Brown, father of late astronaut David Brown, is scheduled to join Interior Secretary Gale Norton and NASA Administrator Sean O’Keefe at a ceremony announcing the location and name of a site in Colorado honoring the astronauts.
