Moscow, 20 March: The command of the Russian Space Troops has dismissed the media reports citing plans of installing space monitoring systems at Russian system diplomatic missions abroad.

A representative of the troops’ information and public relations service, Aleksey Zolotukhin, said on Tuesday [20 March] that “in connection with the publication in some of mass media of information that radar space monitoring stations for tracking carrier rockets can be deployed in the grounds of Russian embassies in a number of countries, the information service reports the following: in line with international law norms no space monitoring system stations had ever been or could be installed”.
