Two Military Satellites Launched Aboard Russian Rocket

Moscow, 23 September: A Kosmos-3M carrier rocket with two Kosmos- series military-purpose satellites aboard has been launched from the space centre of Plesetsk at 1907 Moscow time [1507 gmt] on Thursday [23 September], a spokesman for the Russian Federation’s Space Troops has told Interfax.
“The launch of the carrier rocket went as normal. The satellites are expected to enter their target orbit at 2001 Moscow time [1601 gmt]“, the agency’s source said.
