NASA Astronaut to Visit Ann Arbor Students
HOUSTON, April 30 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Astronaut Andrew J. Feustel will return to his home state of Michigan Thursday, May 3, to visit students at Greenhills School in Ann Arbor. During his visit, he will talk about his experiences as an astronaut and encourage students to set goals and explore their dreams.
The school assembly, open to the media, begins at 12:30 p.m. Greenhills is a private school with about 500 students in grades 6-12. Feustel will be available for media interviews following his presentation.
Feustel, a native of Lake Orion, is currently assigned to the final space shuttle mission to the Hubble Space Telescope. The mission will extend and improve the observatory’s capabilities through 2013. Launch is targeted for 2008.
