A RUSSIAN rocket carrying a US-Russian crew to the International Space Station (ISS) blasted off from Kazakhstan early today. Cosmonaut Salizhan Sharipov and Nasa's Leroy Chiao will replace Russian Gennady Padalka and American Michael Fincke who have been on the ISS since April. Russia has ferried crew to the space station since last year when the shuttle Columbia exploded, killing seven.
And another thing...
Former president George Bush has given his verdict on filmmaker Michael Moore's documentary Fahrenheit 9/11. Asked his opinion of Moore for a TV interview, he replied: "Total ass, slimeball.
It's outrageous, his lies about my family."
The film highlighted the Bush family's ties to the Saudi royal family.
