Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne Receives Contractor Excellence Award From NASA

CANOGA PARK, Calif., May 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne (PWR) has been recognized by NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center with the agency's 2006 Contractor Excellence Award. The award to PWR is for the company's outstanding support of the NASA mission of space exploration. Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne is a United Technologies company.

Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne manufactures, tests, installs and maintains the Space Shuttle Main Engines for NASA's space shuttle program. The 2006 Contractor Excellence Award for PWR is in the "Large Business-Product" category.
