MOSCOW. Oct 27 (Interfax) - The Russian Space Agency and South Korea have signed a contract for a space launch facility with all the necessary ground infrastructure and communications for launching civilian satellites, an agency press release received by Interfax on Wednesday says.

"A contract has just been signed with South Korea on the construction there of a small space facility for launching civilian launch vehicles," the press service quotes agency chief Anatoly Perminov as saying.

He said the facility will be used for civilian launches and scientific studies of outer space.

Perminov said the project should be implemented by the end of 2007.
