Flight International Magazine Launches into Space

Flight International has taken its "next generation publishing" promotional campaign to a brand new level by becoming the first magazine in space.
Flight's logo was placed on the Genesis II spacecraft, which launched on 28 June, to highlight Flight International's recent rebranding.
Bigelow Aerospace, makers of the spacecraft, has placed 22 cameras on-board that will capture photos and items from members of the public as part of a pilot programme called 'Fly your Stuff'.
The programme offers individuals or businesses the chance to put their logos, photos or other items into space, which are photographed inside the spacecraft with the images sent back to Earth.
Murdo Morrison, the editor of Flight International said: "The whole space tourism market is really taking off with several businesses such as Virgin Galactic currently selling sub-orbital flights in the next few years. Flight International was reporting on the birth of powered aviation a century ago, and has charted over the years all the world-changing developments from the jet engine to supersonic flight to the Moon landings. It's really exciting to be part of this latest giant leap in aerospace technology."
