Space shuttle Endeavour lit up the predawn sky above Florida's Space Coast on Monday with a 4:14 am EST launch from NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
Space Shuttle Endeavour was launched at 4:14 am EST today and is heading for the International Space Station carrying two sophisticated European modules: Node-3 (Tranquility) and Cupola.
Richard Francis has been responsible for managing ESA's CryoSat Project since the decision was made to rebuild the satellite following the loss of the original CryoSat in 2005.
