The article, written by David Lariviere, discussed Alex Rodriguez's appeal of his 211-game suspension and the ensuing PR battle in the MLB, and featured crisis management commentary from Silver.

The article notes that Silver thinks A-Rod currently has a significant advantage over the corporations in the PR arena, will recover from the scandal, and eventually come clean with an authentic admission.

Silver also doesn't expect the MLB to engage in a tit for tat war with A-Rod; saying "I don’t think it’s their place other than protecting the integrity of the game. I think they’ll stick with generic statements."
