New Heart Rate Monitors Fall 2013 By HRWC

Heart rate monitor and GPS watch fitness technology is evolving fast and a great many new products are being launched for Fall 2013, says the Heart Rate Watch Company.

New heart rate monitors and GPS watches have been hitting the market fast and furious since August according to the Heart Rate Watch Company.

"Much of the new heart rate monitor and GPS watch technology is leveraging new features like Bluetooth Smart and even data like run oscillation," says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company. He adds, "The new Garmin Forerunner 620 and Forerunner 220 have many of the latest features and will be bellwether products to watch."

NEW GARMIN GPS WATCHES

Garmin just announced the Garmin Forerunner 620 and Forerunner 220 to replace the old 610 and 210. Feature advancement was significant with Bluetooth Smart instant data transfer for both watches and the 620 added Wifi according to Squire. "There is also a run oscillation feature that helps you smooth out your running technique," says Squire.

NEW POLAR ACTIVITY TRACKER

Polar just introduced the new Polar Loop 24/7 Activity tracker this week. Polar Loop is water resistant and can measure activity in the water, unlike competitors products and it can use heart rate data from a Polar H7 or H6 Bluetooth chest strap.

NEW TOMTOM GPS WATCHES

TomTom has introduced a very nice Runners and GPS Multisport watches that offer super fast satellite acquisition and a very easy to use single button navigation. "Both the TomTom Multisport GPS watch and the Runner were very easy to use, thin and light, so our initial impressions were very positive, especially for women," says Squire.

NEW SUUNTO AMBIT 2

Suunto Ambit 2 has really raised the bar on GPS watch durability, navigation and fitness with a series of "do all" watches that measure swim, bike and run data. "The Suunto Ambit 2 is not cheap, but you get what you pay for", says Squire.

There is a lot of great new technology to consider for this Holiday season if you are into fitness according to Squire.
