Alter G Your Broad Street Personal Record at West Norriton PTW
Runners can get ready for the Broad Street Run with elite runner Crystal Burnick and The Physical Therapy & Wellness Institute, West Norriton, Pa with use of the Alter G anti-gravity treadmill.
West Norriton, PA (PRWEB) March 05, 2014
Beginning today, the Physical Therapy & Wellness Institute (PTW) will be offering runners and aspiring athletes concerned about the health of their bones a reduced rate package to get ready for the spring running season, partnering the NASA technology of the Alter G anti-gravity treadmill, and the experience of one of the most elite runners in the tri-state area, Crystal Burnick (West Norriton, Pa).
Ms Burnick states, “The anti-gravity treadmill is a must for all elite runners looking to shave a few minutes or seconds of their PR. After a run, I train on the anti-gravity treadmill at 70% of my weight, and work back up to 100% over a period of a few weeks or a month to allow my joints to recover. As the race approaches, the Alter G permits me to over speed train and taper, helping me get to the next level. With all the running I do, the Alter G is a must in my training routine”. In the recent past, Crystal has won her age group for the Philly Rock and Roll half-marathon, placed third American in the Broad Street Run, and ran the half-marathon championships in Minnesota.
The Alter G (http://www.alterg.com) provides runners an added advantage of ‘unloading a joint”, ideal for sore ankles, knees, hips, or the back. In addition, faster recovery time, increases in speed, achievement of personal record (PR), and increases in VO2 help you build mileage safely.
The Physical Therapy & Wellness Institute, West Norriton, Pa is offering the “Broad Street Blowout” package beginning March 5th, and is offering this weekly program in 6 or 8 week sessions for as low as $249. Included in the package is weekly programing with daily instruction, use of the Alter G anti-gravity treadmill, and initial startup screening with weekly joint pain talks by Dr. Jim Fagnani, DPT, of the Physical Therapy & Wellness Institute.
Limited placements for the Broad Street Blow out packages are being accepted; call before full capacity is reached at (610) 630-0101.
PTW— Physical Therapy & Wellness Institute (http://www.ptwinstitute.com) —has been offering quality care for those recovering from injuries, surgeries, muscle traumas and skeletal disorders since 2002.
