Marc Savard and Patrice Bergeron had one goal and one assist each Friday in Boston’s 4-2 win over Florida, the Bruins’ third straight win.
Savard’s eighth goal (power play) this season gave Boston a three-goal advantage at 9:26 of the second period.
Goalie Tim Thomas yielded two goals on 32 shots for the Bruins, who have won eight of their last nine games, and beat Florida for the first time since a 4-1 decision Nov. 3, 2005.
Florida got one goal each from David Booth and Ville Peltonen.
Tomas Vokoun yielded four goals on 39 shots for the Panthers, who have lost three of four.
On the power play, Boston went 1-for-2, while the Panthers were scoreless on four man-advantage opportunities.
