Roger Mason scored 15 of his 29 points in a big third quarter Friday, carrying the San Antonio Spurs to a 119-94 victory over Utah.
The Spurs won for the fourth time in five games, outscoring the Jazz by 16 in the third quarter.
Utah had won its previous two games. The Jazz are unbeaten in their six home outings this season, but are only 2-5 on the road.
George Hill added 26 for San Antonio and Tim Duncan had 18. The Spurs are trying to cope while Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili recover from injuries. Both are expected to return in less than a month.
Utah, meanwhile, had to play without Carlos Boozer, who left a game against Milwaukee Wednesday with a strained tendon in his upper left leg. Ronnie Brewer led the Jazz with 17.
