NBA: Charlotte 103, Oklahoma City 97
Jason Richardson finished off a seven-point run in the fourth quarter Wednesday that enabled Charlotte to pull away for a 103-97 win over Oklahoma City.
It was just the sixth win in 18 games for the Bobcats and came against a team that has won only twice all season. Charlotte has produced back-to-back victories for the first time this year.
Emeka Okafor led the Bobcats with 25 points and Gerald Wallace had 21. Richardson, who surpassed the 10,000-point mark for his career, had 18.
Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 24.
Oklahoma City, which shot 54 percent from the field, was within two points with more than 7 minutes left in the game. Charlotte then went on its 7-0 run, which Richardson closed with a field goal, and Oklahoma City could not make it a one-possession game the rest of the way.
The Thunder turned the ball over 19 times and missed 10 of its 28 attempts from the foul line.
