The Arizona Cardinals earned their first playoff appearance in 10 years Sunday with a 34-10 victory over the St. Louis Rams that clinched the AFC West.

Kurt Warner threw for 279 yards and a touchdown while the defense contributed two TDs in the second half on Darnell Dockett’s return of a recovered Rams fumble and a 99-yard interception run by Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

Tim Hightower ran for 31 yards and touchdown for the Cardinals (8-5), while Fitzgerald led the receivers with six catches for 73 yards and a TD. The Cardinals are 5-0 against conference opponents.

For the Rams (2-11), it was another day of sputtering offense as they lost their seventh consecutive game. Marc Bulger threw for 228 yards and a touchdown; however, running back Steven Jackson was limited by the Arizona defense and lingering thigh injury to 64 yards on 19 carries with two fumbles.
