NBA: Phoenix 125, Milwaukee 110
Shaquille O’Neal had 35 points and eight rebounds Tuesday, carrying the Phoenix Suns to a 125-110 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Suns only led by six after three quarters but started the final period with a 16-6 spurt, including six by O’Neal, that put the game out of reach for the Bucks.
O’Neal, who hasn’t averaged over 20 points a game since the 2005-06 season with Miami, shot 14-of-19 from the field in Phoenix’s 21st straight home win over the Bucks.
Amare Stoudemire added 22 points and eight rebounds and Steve Nash 19 points and 10 assists for the Suns.
Charlie Villanueva had 24 points and nine rebounds for the Bucks, who have lost four of six. Michael Redd added 23 point and Richard Jefferson 22 points in the loss. Andrew Bogut had 15 points and 11 rebounds for Milwaukee, which hasn’t won in Phoenix since 1987.
