NBA: Sacramento 113, LA Lakers 101
December 9, 2008
Kobe Bryant’s 28 points weren’t enough Tuesday to prevent the Los Angeles Lakers from losing just their third game this season, a 113-101 setback to Sacramento.
The Kings’ offense was led by John Salmons and Francisco Garcia, who dumped in 21 points each. Bobby Jackson came up with 15 points and Spencer Hawes added 11 points and nine rebounds for Sacramento, which surprisingly ended an eight-game skid.
Bryant made just 9-of-25 shots from the field as the 17-3 Lakers had a three-game win streak broken.
Pau Gasol scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for LA.
