COL BKB: Syracuse 79, Long Beach State 55

Arinze Onuaku scored 17 points Satuday to lead the 16th-ranked Syracuse Orange to a 79-55 victory over Long Beach State.

Eric Devendorf and Andy Rautins each had 13 points, with Rick Jackson adding 11 points and nine rebounds for the Orange (9-0).

Syracuse had a 50-37 rebounding edge and held Long Beach State to 31.5 percent shooting and a 5-of-36 on three-point tries.

T.J. Robinson and Stephan Gilling led the 49ers (4-5) with 12 points each.
