NHL: Philadelphia 5, Colorado 2
The Philadelphia Flyers fell behind in the first period but stormed back with four straight goals Tuesday on the way to a 5-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche.
Mike Knuble, Jeff Carter, Joffrey Lupul, Mike Richards and Simon Gagney scored for Philadelphia, which stretched its win streak to five games.
Antero Niittymaki made 29 saves for the Flyers and Peter Bujad had 19 for the Avalanche.
Paul Stastny and David Jones got the Colorado goals.
Stastny put Colorado ahead 1-0 on an unassisted power-play goal with 10:37 remaining in the opening period but Knuble tied it 2 minutes later and Carter got a shorthanded goal late in the period to put the Flyers ahead to stay.
Lupul and Richards notched goals a little over a minute apart in the second period and Philadelphia led 4-1.
