NBA: Orlando 90, San Antonio 78
Jameer Nelson scored 11 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter Thursday, helping Orlando capture its third straight game with a 90-78 win over San Antonio.
Rashard Lewis added 15 points and Dwight Howard, who had missed Orlando’s previous two games with a knee injury, contributed 14 points and 13 rebounds despite getting into foul trouble.
San Antonio was led by Tim Duncan with 19 points. Tony Parker scored just nine points while making only three field goals in 17 attempts.
It was the second loss in as many nights for the Spurs after six straight wins.
The Magic took a 13-point lead into the final quarter, but San Antonio cut its deficit to 71-65. Nelson then scored on a layup and a jumper to boost the Orlando advantage back to 10 and the Spurs could not recover.
