NBA: Chicago 106, Utah 98
Ben Gordon had 26 points and Derrick Rose scored 24 Saturday night in the Chicago Bulls’ 106-98 win over Utah.
Andres Nocioni finished with 15 points and eight rebounds, and Thabo Sefolosha and Larry Hughes scored 10 points apiece for the Bulls, who won for the fourth time in seven games.
Mehmet Okur led the Jazz with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Paul Millsap had 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Deron Williams finished with 19 points and six assists for the Jazz, who have split the first four games of their five-game road trip.
The Jazz took a 79-78 lead into the fourth quarter but the Bulls took a 95-92 lead with just over 4 minutes left to play and Gordon’s three extended the lead to 98-92. A three-point play by Okur got Utah back within three but Hughes and Gordon hit five straight foul shots to send the Bulls up 103-95 and the Jazz never got back in it.
