NBA: Boston 110, Philadelphia 91

The Boston Celtics became the first team in NBA history to open the season with a 27-2 record Tuesday when they beat Philadelphia 110-91.
Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo each scored 18 points to help the Celtics post a franchise-record 19th consecutive win.
The 1966-67 Sixers and 1969-70 Knicks each started the season with 26-2 marks, but only the Celtics won their 29th game.
Ray Allen had 16 points and Leon Powe 15 for Boston.
Lou Williams and Marreese Speights led Philadelphia with 16 points each. The Sixers committed 22 turnovers.
