Pavel Datsyuk scored two goals and assisted on a third Tuesday to power the Detroit Red Wings past the St. Louis Blues 4-1.


Tomas Holmstrom and Nicklas Lidstrom also scored for the Red Wings, who have won four of their last five games.


Red Wings goalie Ty Conklin turned aside 33 shots, including 17 in the first period.


Patrik Berglund scored the only goal for the Blues. Manny Legace made 37 saves in St. Louis’s seventh loss in eight games.


Detroit got the only two goals they needed in the first period while on the power play. Datsyuk nailed a wrister at 5:03 and Lidstrom blew a slapshot past Legace 5 minutes later.
