Martin St. Louis and Ryan Malone had a goal and three assists each Saturday night and the Tampa Bay Lightning beat Florida 6-4 to sweep a home-and-home series.
Vincent Lecavalier had two goals and an assist, and Evgeny Artyukhin and Steven Stamkos each scored a goal for the Lightning. Mike Smith stopped 25-of-29 shots for Tampa Bay, which has won three straight games after losing three straight and 12-of-13 overall.
David Booth had two goals and an assist, and Stephen Weiss had a goal and an assist for the Panthers, who have lost four of their last six games. Tomas Vokoun allowed six goals on 42 shots for Florida.
The Lightning led 3-1 in the second period when Florida took advantage of four consecutive power-play opportunities to tie the game 3-3. The Lightning went up 4-3 on Lecavalier's goal in the closing moments of the second -- and then went up 6-3 on goals by Malone and St. Louis in the opening moments of the third.
Weiss scored with a little more than six minutes left in the game but the Lightning closed the door on Florida the rest of the way.
