Report: Red Sox sign Takashi Saito

The Boston Red Sox signed former Los Angeles Dodger relief pitcher Takashi Saito to a one-year contract, mlb.com reported Saturday..
Saito, 38, has 81 saves in three seasons, all with the Dodgers. His record is 12-7 with a 1.95 earned-run average.
The right-hander missed most of last season with an elbow injury, finishing with 18 saves in 22 appearances.
