Coyotes recall Winnik

Forward Daniel Winnik is rejoining the Phoenix Coyotes after a reconditioning stint in the minors, the team announced Monday.
The 23-year-old player in his second NHL season, had been with San Antonio since Jan. 1. He didn’t register a point and had four penalty minutes in five games with the Rampage.
Winnik, a ninth-round pick in the 2004 entry draft, has just one assist in 23 NHL games this season after recording 11 goals and 15 assists in 79 games as a rookie.
