COL BKB: Illinois 66, Michigan 51
Mike Tisdale missed just two of his 12 shots from the field Wednesday and scored 24 points, carrying Illinois to a 66-51 win over No. 24 Michigan.
Illinois won for the ninth time in 10 games, getting 17 points from Demetri McCamey and 11 from Trent Meacham. The Illini (15-2, 3-1 Big Ten) shot 47 percent from the field and held Michigan to 32 percent.
Manny Harris scored 20 and was the only player in double figures for Michigan (13-4, 3-2).
The Wolverines owned a 31-30 halftime lead, but Illinois built a 50-41 advantage with less than 9 minutes to play and used an 8-0 run down the stretch to pull away.
Michigan had won its previous three games.
