COL BKB: Stanford 75, California 69

Lawrence Hill scored 25 points Saturday to lead the Stanford Cardinal to a 76-69 victory over the 23rd-ranked ranked California Golden Bears.

Anthony Goods added 19 points and Landry Fields 15 for the Cardinal (12-3, 2-3 Pac-10), who ended a two-game losing streak.

Jamal Boykin had 22 points, seven rebounds and four assists for the Golden Bears (15-3, 4-1), who had won nine in a row. Theo Robertson added 17 points and eight rebounds and Jerome Randle had 13 points and seven assists.

Patrick Christopher's jump shot gave the Golden Bears a 55-54 lead with about 7 1/2 minutes remaining but Mitch Johnson made nailed two shots and Hill added a layup to put Stanford up 60-55. Stanford led 65-56 with under four minutes left.
