Amare Stoudemire scored 31 points and Steve Nash produced 18 assists for the Phoenix Suns in a 117-113 win Sunday over the Toronto Raptors.
Nash hit a running shot in the lane to give the Suns a three-point lead with 11.9 seconds remaining and Toronto, going for a quick two instead of attempting a three-pointer, missed a layup and a tip-in.
Jason Richardson had 17 points and Matt Barnes and Shaquille O’Neal added 16 each for Phoenix.
Toronto, led by Anthony Parker with 26 points and Joey Graham with 22, lost its fifth straight game.
