Zach Johnson carded a 5-under-par 65 Sunday and won the Sony Open in Hawaii by two shots.

Johnson finished at 15-under 265 at the Waialae course in Honolulu.

Adam Scott (64) and David Toms (66) tied for second at 13-under 267. Charles Howell (66) was fourth at 268 and Kevin Na (66) and Brian Gay (68) followed at 269.

The title was Johnson’s fifth on the PGA Tour, including a Masters victory in 2007.

Four players — Johnson, Toms, Scott and Howell — held or shared the lead in the final round.

Johnson said he felt very fortunate to come out on top in such a close battle.

It was tough, he said.
