Tim Duncan scored 17 points to lead a well-balanced San Antonio attack Monday in the Spurs’ 86-84 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats.

Duncan also had 11 rebounds and six assists as the Spurs won for the seventh time in nine outings.

Tony Parker had 13 points and 10 assists in the low-scoring affair, while Roger Mason had 12 points. Manu Ginobili and George Hill each had 10 apiece for the Spurs.

Charlotte, which had a three-game winning streak ended, got 25 points from Raja Bell and 16 from Boris Diaw.

The Bobcats led 68-63 going into the final quarter and held off San Antonio for the next 6 minutes before the lead started to swing back and forth.

Ginobili hit two straight three-pointers that put San Antonio ahead 83-78 with 2:53 to go and the Spurs held on from there thanks to a Duncan block and a missed three-point attempt by Diaw down the stretch.
