Boonen wins Tour third stage, McEwen penalized

TOURS, France (Reuters) – Belgian Tom Boonen won the thirdstage of the Tour de France over 212.5 km from La ChataigneraieMonday.
Austrian Peter Wrolich took second place and AustralianStuart O’Grady was awarded third place after compatriot RobbieMcEwen was penalized for pushing in the final sprint.
American David Zabriskie retained the overall leader’syellow jersey.
